Gigi had a birthday

I am playing catch-up starting with this post

Gretchen had a birthday and is now a whopping six years old. Yippee!  I remember when I was six because my bed time was 6:30PM and I remember all my friends were playing in the back yard while I went to bed (I peeked out my window and they were waving me to come out)

Time to open all the presents, beginning with this one.

What could it be?

The Barnhart kids like to wear hats, Gretchen with her wide brim red straw hat and Lorelei with her pioneer woman hat.

Calvin was bored and would rather hang back in the yard.

She got a Snow White dress for her doll that Gramma Larsen made for her.

Then we have the cake. Kit Kats and M&M cake.  Several thought that with the first cut that all the M&Ms would fall out.  Well did they? No indeed, but you could grab a handful to eat.

The cake with lit candles.  You know, she blew them all out.
