Cash 4 Clunkers

Several days after I bought my new car, I thought it would be fun to see if my old '94 Explorer was still around. I found it on death row, waiting to be executed. I thought they would have spray painted "Cash 4 Clunkers" on the sides. But I was told that they would not do that just in case the deal did not go through, in which case they would have returned my old car, in running condition, and I would need to pay them an additional $4500.
